The Call of the Anointed
Share
To be chosen by God is a sacred privilege and a divine responsibility. The anointing is not simply a blessing; it is a calling to stand in righteousness, to shine where others falter, and to speak life into situations that seem impossible.
Many may misunderstand those who are called. Some may envy, some may fear, and others may not fully grasp the purpose of divine alignment. Opposition does not always come from outside. It can appear as subtle doubts, questions from loved ones, or moments when the world seems to challenge your path.
Those walking in God’s call are like vessels of sacred oil, valuable and holy, often tested to strengthen what has been entrusted. Challenges are not punishment; they are preparation. The refining process produces the fragrance of character, faith, and influence that impacts generations.
There are times when God asks you to act, to speak, to lead, and other times asks you simply to remain silent and rest in His presence. The body grows weary, the heart wavers, and circumstances may seem discouraging. In these moments, faith must rise above feelings. Conviction must outweigh convenience.
“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you.” — 1 John 2:27 KJV
This anointing endures. It sustains you when the applause fades, when challenges arise, and when the journey feels solitary. It is a quiet power that whispers courage into your spirit, guiding you forward even when recognition is absent and resistance is strong.
Walking in God’s call requires embracing the paradox of divine purpose. Those who are anointed are celebrated and tested, empowered and refined. The impact of the anointing is not always visible; it is often sensed in the lives touched, in doors opening that no one else can see, and in the peace that surpasses understanding amidst trials.
